She is also co-author of the book, Art Works: How Making Art Illuminates Your Life (Ganesha Books, 2013), with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's renowned artist, art therapist, and art educator, Don Seiden. Davis' writing has appeared in The Sun, Book magazine, Strong Coffee, and Maxine, among other publications. She was editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Fish Stories: Collectives I-IV and founder of WorkShirts Writing Center.
